1.61 Films is an independent production studio founded by filmmaker Myrsini Aristidou in 2016. Working from Cyprus with a global network of collaborators, the studio develops and produces short and feature-length films with a strong visual identity and a meticulous, craft-driven approach to storytelling. Its work focuses on authentic narratives, thoughtful creative processes, and a consistent pursuit of distinctive cinematic language. 1.61 Films have been presented at major international festivals including Venice, Sundance, Toronto, Berlin, and Tribeca.
